Math (General) Grade 7 Print Credit Recovery
In 7th Grade General Math, you will have a concise review of mathematical concepts from Math Grade 6 with new concepts presented. The course is divided into twelve sections: Order of Operations, Variable Expressions, Absolute Value, Equations, Ratios and Proportions, Fractions, Percent, Lines and Angles, Polygons, Perimeter, Area and Volume, Pythagorean Theorem and lastly, Graphing Equations. Each section builds upon material learned in the previous section. Please be sure to follow directions and review all examples provided.
Course Objectives
· Define mathematical terminology.
· Solve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems that involve whole numbers, fractions,
· and decimals.
· Change percents to fractions and decimals, compute the percentage of a base.
· Read, write and round whole and decimal numbers.
· Reduce and change forms of fractions.
